This tension gauge apparently uses a better method to produce Swatches also removing guess work when complicated patterns and stitches are involved.
How it works
- All you need to do with the Lorant Knitting Tension Gauge is put the transparent window( on the scaled side of the gauge) over your marked out 24 (or 36) stitches, or your marked out 36 (or 24) rows, in a prepared fabric. Align the start of a marked out row or column against the zero column on the gauge and read off, on the appropriate scale, the number of stitches or rows in 10 cm (4 ins) at the point where the marked out length ends.
Used and might have other imperfections.
